01 / RESEARCH & BENCHTOP BIOREACTORS
Make each experiment more informative.
Choose a compact controller, compare cultures in parallel, or explore solid-state cultivation. Every card opens its own specifications and matched catalog pages.
02 / PILOT & MANUFACTURING SIP REACTORS
Plan the next scale. Keep the process in view.
Stainless steel systems with sterilization in place. Compare published pilot specifications, then define the production configuration around your process and utilities.
Explanatory illustrations. Curves, bubbles and sequences are simulated, not measured performance. Features apply to the systems identified below.
AGITATION + AERATION
01 / CREATE THE CULTURE ENVIRONMENT
Mixing is part of the method.
Impeller geometry, gas delivery and agitation speed shape the environment around your culture. Winpact research vessels include stirred and airlift arrangements, with vessel-specific speed limits.
FS-05 / FS-06 / FS-07: discuss microbial or cell-culture impellers. Airlift vessels use a different mixing principle.
DO cascade control links the oxygen measurement to process responses. Agitation, oxygen supply and gas mixing depend on the controller and installed devices. Identify the response you need before choosing expansion modules.
FS-06 additional cascade functions can require its expansion module; oxygen and gas mixing devices are optional. SIP controls are configured separately.

03 / KEEP YOUR RUN IN CONTEXT
The run ends. The information stays useful.
On-screen trends and exported records help you compare runs. FS-05, FS-06 and FS-07 provide USB data export and Ethernet connectivity; the multi-parallel platform lists CSV export over USB.
Review storage capacity, file formats and supplied software against your workflow. Advanced EZScript control is an optional research-system feature.
INDEPENDENT CONDITIONS / PARALLEL QUESTIONS
04 / EXPLORE MORE THAN ONE CONDITION
Compare the variables that matter.
The FS-05 controls two independent vessels. FS-MPB starts with four per module and supports up to sixteen vessels across four modules, making it an option for screening multiple conditions.
Vessel volumes and controllers differ between these families. Parallel operation alone does not guarantee biological reproducibility.
The 30–200 L pilot family lists automated sterilization of the vessel and tubing. Product-contact 316L stainless steel, orbital-welded piping and bottom diaphragm valves are specified for these systems.
SIP requires suitable facility steam and utilities. Cycle parameters, cleaning scope, validation and production configurations must be agreed for your application.
The research controllers list password-protected accounts, and pilot SIP systems list user access levels. The Siemens S7 offering provides a separate project path for defining PLC controls and documentation requirements.
Confirm permissions, audit requirements, data integrity and qualification deliverables for the supplied version. Regulatory compliance is evaluated at the project and process level.
